Our History

Since 1994, Kansas City-based ManagementConcepts, Inc. has worked with visionary leaders to develop the strategy, people and processes necessary to achieve SIGNIFICANT AND SUSTAINABLE improvement in Revenues and Profitability. With minimum disruption of day-to-day operations, ManagementConcepts' processes quickly allow clients to become more successful in meeting specific organizational objectives.

In December of 2002, ManagementConcepts became a certified affiliate of Resource Associates Corporation (RAC) of Reading, Pennsylvania.  This relationship partners ManagementConcepts with an internationally recognized leader in Organizational and Leadership Development and provides access to over 500 Senior level performance consultants across North America and the UK.  ManagementConcepts is also strategically aligned with the Total Quality Institute and has access to a number of proven organizational assessment and development processes.

We partner with only the most effective consultants selected and trained to our highest standards.  Individuals and teams are assigned based on experience and client objectives.

Our President

A nationally acclaimed Organizational and Leadership Development consultant and speaker, Allison Darling has personally worked with thousands of individuals within a variety of corporate, entrepreneurial and not for profit organizations.  Clients benefit tremendously from her leadership experience in Distribution, Manufacturing, Inventory Control and Logistics with Hallmark Cards and JCPenney Catalog.  Her entrepreneurial successes add even more value to the organizations with whom she works.  Prior to forming ManagementConcepts, Allison planned, built, acquired competitors and eventually sold a lucrative commercial and residential maintenance contracting company.

In addition to her leadership role at ManagementConcepts, Allison facilitates the Kansas City Chapter of the Women Presidents Organization.  A group of women entrepreneurs who own and operate multimillion dollar businesses.  She is also an active leader in the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce where she has served on the Government Affairs Committee and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors.
